Creating Something New

  

 

 

When I thought of the work "make" the first thing that came to my mind was the verse in Isaiah 43:19   ....I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

How many times have I needed a way out of the wilderness I had gotten lost in?  I would probably loose count.  Thinking I could make it through the darkest times of my life without God ended in disaster.  I am grateful that no matter what, He is always there to bail me out when I think I can't possible go any farther.  

The Maker of all things is the Creator of all that is new.  When we find ourselves hopelessly lost, He is there waiting to guide us back in the right direction.  At times, though, He leave us to wonder in the desert for awhile, not only to help us grow, but also to make us rely on Him more.  This can be tough for us to swallow but knowing that the One who created the heavens and earth and all the beauty around us is also wanting to do that in us.

If you feel you are wandering in the desert and wondering when God will hear your cry, remember He hears. He is creating something new in you.
